Wow it has been awhile! Just thought I would share a few from the past week. I did these for a friend I am having a hard time with my monitor would love some cc on these thank peas!

I have been missing in action. I have been out of town and then so much family stuff. Still trying to get caught up. I had to take a break from doing some uninspired pieces to do something a little more reflective.

So this is where I was this weekend. I am very lucky to be able to experience this with dear friends. Hope they are enjoying being married!
I know I could never do this beautiful building justice. But here is my feeble attempt.

You Know There's Trouble When...................

Yes you know there is trouble when these are the eyes that are looking back at you! Tried a little different approach with the one of Noah soft and light. These two little ones really get me. They know just exactly what to do to make me fall madly in love. I am becoming an old softy.

the pictures I promised

Okay so last week I told you I would post the first day of school pictures. Well then my dear husband decided to get sick and through our whole house out of whack so just now getting back to posting POTD! Needless to say I haven't been able to have the camera out lately. Well here are the two that were worth anything. My little second grader and my jr. higher ugh!

Yesterday at the zoo

Okay so this is my POTD for yesterday. Took the kiddos to the zoo for the last day of summer vacation (boo hoo!) and this was my shot of the day. Loved it considering I shot it through the glass inside a building! This little guy was such a ham he was totally playing with us. He would peek around this rock and smile I swear!!! He was great!

Tuesday

Here is one from the other day that I finally got around to. This little guy LOVES basketball. He loved messing around with his b-ball, he didn't even mind me snapping pictures while he did it.

So the backyard 10 at 2 peas got me inspired to share these that I took of my backyard over the last year. The tulip is one of the first pictures I took after I got my camera last year and the other two were ones I took this spring. Just a tree in my yard and the leg of the picnic table did a loose version of an Orton tec. on them. Kinda my own made up version hehe.







Have a great Saturday and hopefully I can get some new pictures taken today. I have about 150 shots of a birthday party I took last night for a friend. So I will be busy trying to get those ready if I have extra time. Well I'm off to change diapers and clean the house. I know sounds like so much fun you'd like to come join me! Okay so I am loving the idea of sharing pictures with you all. I am working on exposure and lighting. The b&w is an free action I came across with some tweaking not sure if I am happy or not with it.
