Yesterday at the zoo

Okay so this is my POTD for yesterday. Took the kiddos to the zoo for the last day of summer vacation (boo hoo!) and this was my shot of the day. Loved it considering I shot it through the glass inside a building! This little guy was such a ham he was totally playing with us. He would peek around this rock and smile I swear!!! He was great!

Here is one from the other day that I finally got around to. This little guy LOVES basketball. He loved messing around with his b-ball, he didn't even mind me snapping pictures while he did it.

So the backyard 10 at 2 peas got me inspired to share these that I took of my backyard over the last year. The tulip is one of the first pictures I took after I got my camera last year and the other two were ones I took this spring. Just a tree in my yard and the leg of the picnic table did a loose version of an Orton tec. on them. Kinda my own made up version hehe.







Have a great Saturday and hopefully I can get some new pictures taken today. I have about 150 shots of a birthday party I took last night for a friend. So I will be busy trying to get those ready if I have extra time. Well I'm off to change diapers and clean the house. I know sounds like so much fun you'd like to come join me! Believe me I would rather stay here and ramble but I have a baby paging me so better run. Thanks for peeking!

Okay so I am loving the idea of sharing pictures with you all. I am working on exposure and lighting. The b&w is an free action I came across with some tweaking not sure if I am happy or not with it.
